Kauffman Stadium Information

In 2004, the Kansas City Royals begin their 32nd season in the confines of Kauffman Stadium, located at P.O. Box 419969, Kansas City, MO 64141-6969.  Kauffman Stadium played host to the 1973 All-Star Game and two championship series in 1980 and 1985.  A 30 foot by 40 foot color video display board was added in 1990, and in 1995, the fences were moved in 10 feet from bullpen to bullpen and lowered from 12 feet to 9 feet.  The stadium can hold more than 40,000 people and the field is symmetrical all the way around.  There is more than enough parking on the lot of Kauffman Stadium, one of the biggest factors in the most recent sets of renovations.  Although it’s a little pricy at $8 per car, you’ll easily save that through the purchase of your tickets.  Every seat is a good one in Kauffman Stadium, due to the good sight lines and comfort of the seats themselves.

You can purchase a ticket to sit in the club box or right behind the dugout for a very reasonable $25 or you can sit in the outfield plaza for only $12.  If neither of these works for you, you can also sit in the HyVee plaza for only $7.
